Terms and Conditions

Last updated 1 November 2026 · Applies from publication

The agreement for using TrueFlow, including accounts, subscriptions, acceptable use and your rights.

1. Your agreement with TrueFlow

These Terms govern use of TrueFlow’s website, web application, WhatsApp service and related features provided by Trueflow Limited. Contact: hello@gettrueflow.com. The Privacy Policy explains information handling; the Refund Policy explains cancellations and refund requests. A specific written enterprise agreement may replace relevant subscription provisions where expressly agreed.

By registering or using the service after these Terms are made available, you agree to them to the extent permitted by law. If you do not agree, do not register or continue using the service. You must be at least 18, have capacity to enter this agreement, and be authorised to act for any organisation whose workspace you administer.

2. What TrueFlow provides

TrueFlow provides tools to organise records such as expenses, budgets, reminders, clients, invoices and other available workspace information, with AI assistance where enabled. Available modules, quotas, export options, team seats and channels depend on the plan and permissions displayed for your account. Descriptions of future features do not make those features part of a current purchase.

TrueFlow is not a bank, custodian, investment manager, lender or regulated adviser. Recording income, payments or savings-goal contributions does not hold or transfer your money. Estimates and AI output are informational assistance, not professional financial, tax, legal or accounting advice. You remain responsible for checking records, obligations and decisions with an appropriately qualified adviser when needed.

3. Accounts and authorised access

Give accurate account and billing information, protect your credentials and verification codes, and notify us promptly if access may be compromised. Use the available verification steps to link email and WhatsApp accounts. You are responsible for activity you authorise; these Terms do not make you responsible for activity caused by our breach of a duty owed to you.

Workspace owners control authorised invitations, roles and access. Invite only people permitted to receive the relevant information. Members must act within their granted access. Removal ends future authorised access but does not automatically erase workspace history. Do not use another person’s account or bypass a plan, quota, verification step or permission restriction.

4. Your information and uploaded content

You retain rights in your content. You grant us permission to host, process, transmit and display it only as reasonably needed to provide, secure and support the service, fulfil your instructions and comply with law. This includes processing through relevant service providers described in the Privacy Policy; it does not transfer ownership of your records to us.

You must have the necessary authority and lawful basis for information about clients, staff, household members and form respondents. Give appropriate notices and obtain consent where required. Do not upload unlawful content, credentials or information you are not authorised to share. Maintain your own copies of important records and use available exports subject to your permissions.

5. AI, reminders and third-party services

AI extraction, classifications, answers and drafts may be incomplete or incorrect. Review names, amounts, currencies, dates, time zones and proposed changes before confirming or relying on them. Features that require review do not authorise a financial write merely because a suggestion was generated.

Reminder delivery, WhatsApp, email, push notifications and payment processing depend on network and third-party availability. Check that a requested reminder was saved with the correct time zone and maintain a separate means of tracking critical deadlines. We do not guarantee that every notification reaches a device at an exact moment, but this does not exclude duties or remedies applicable to a service failure.

Third-party checkout, messaging and external sites may have separate terms. You are not required to agree to unrelated optional services to use features that do not need them.

6. Plans, prices and billing periods

The plan, included limits, price, currency, billing period, applicable taxes/fees and whether payment recurs must be disclosed at checkout before you pay. Checkout information and a specific written offer govern that purchase. Free access does not create a paid subscription merely by being used.

Where enabled, monthly subscriptions can renew automatically through Flutterwave on the disclosed schedule until cancelled. Quarterly or annual access offered by the current checkout is prepaid for that period and does not recur automatically unless recurring billing is expressly disclosed and authorised. Payment-provider configuration must support the offered purchase; a failed checkout does not entitle us to claim an unmade payment.

We may change future prices or plan limits with reasonable notice before a paid renewal or a material reduction takes effect, and with any additional protection required by law. You may decline the change by cancelling future renewal. We will not silently apply a higher recurring price to a previously authorised charge.

7. Cancellation, refunds and downgrades

You may request cancellation of future renewal by emailing hello@gettrueflow.com with your account/workspace and subscription or transaction reference. Use an available provider cancellation control if one is provided, but you may contact us directly. Obtain confirmation that recurring billing has stopped; request cancellation before the next renewal and contact us immediately if a charge is pending. Account deletion or leaving a team does not by itself cancel a payment-provider subscription.

Unless a refund or another applicable remedy ends access earlier, a cancelled paid subscription remains available for the paid period, after which the available plan/limits may change. Cancellation does not erase workspace records or automatically refund a past charge. The Refund Policy includes a seven-day refund offer for the first paid subscription and remedies for duplicate charges, material failures and other legally covered circumstances. Statutory rights take priority over any voluntary restriction.

8. Acceptable use

Do not use TrueFlow for fraud, unlawful activity, harassment, unlawful surveillance or infringement of another person’s rights. Do not send spam, abuse public forms, introduce malware, disrupt the service, scrape information without authority or attempt to access another workspace. Do not misrepresent an AI estimate or record as a bank-confirmed payment, filed return or professional certification.

We may investigate suspected misuse and restrict access proportionately to protect users, security or legal obligations. Where reasonably possible we will explain a restriction and provide an opportunity to resolve it; urgent risks or legal restrictions may require action without advance notice.

9. Our intellectual property

The TrueFlow software, branding and service design are owned by us or our licensors. Your subscription grants a limited right to use the service for its intended purpose during authorised access. It does not permit selling access, copying the service or using our brand to imply endorsement. Rights you have under applicable law remain unaffected.

10. Availability, suspension and closure

We aim to keep the service usable, but maintenance, faults and provider interruptions can occur. We may modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice where practicable, particularly where a paid feature is materially affected. Any entitlement to a refund or other remedy remains governed by the Refund Policy and applicable law.

You can request account closure through hello@gettrueflow.com. We may close or suspend access for a material breach, security risk or legal requirement, using a proportionate process. Where lawful and practicable, allow time to export records before ordinary closure. Retention and deletion follow the Privacy Policy; a closure request is distinct from cancelling recurring billing.

11. Responsibility and limits permitted by law

We will provide the service with the care required by applicable law. We cannot promise error-free AI, uninterrupted access or outcomes that depend on information you supply or third-party systems. To the extent the law permits, we are not responsible for speculative losses or losses too remote from a breach, and you should take reasonable steps to limit avoidable harm.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits a non-excludable consumer right, a legally required refund, liability for fraud or wilful misconduct, or any other responsibility that cannot lawfully be limited. These Terms do not remove your right to a competent court, regulator or statutory remedy. No compulsory private arbitration or blanket waiver of consumer claims is imposed.

12. Complaints, governing law and updates

Send service or billing complaints to hello@gettrueflow.com with enough information to investigate. We will seek a practical resolution and explain the outcome. You may also contact the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission at fccpc.gov.ng, the Nigeria Data Protection Commission for privacy issues, or another competent authority where applicable, without first completing our internal process.

Nigerian law governs these Terms, subject to any mandatory law and rights applicable to you. Disputes may be brought before a court with competent jurisdiction; these Terms do not require you to give up a legally available local forum.

We may update these Terms and will display the updated date and give appropriate notice of material changes. Changes will not retrospectively remove an accrued refund or statutory right. Where new agreement is required, notice alone does not replace it. If part of these Terms is unenforceable, the remaining lawful provisions continue to apply.
